I nabbed these images from Hayley Louisa Brown's blogspot here. We shot i-D online the other day and had mild intervention in form of Genghis, the bengal kitten. Genghis was literally the most adorable thing I've ever seen and very chatty.

My friend and photographer Michael Mayren just showed me this pic. It's backstage from the day of Bolshie's Lookbook.

The boy on the left is Karim and the boy on the right is Eddy.

They've both done extremely well since the show, and many people in Industry have wanted to work with them. Karim is one of the most beautiful and lovely people I have ever met, and I saw that Eddy had a piece written on him for VICE. I really wish them all the luck in the world.

Illamasqua Distinction in Makeup Artistry Awards

A few weeks back I entered Illamasqua's Distinction in Makeup Artistry Awards.

There were hundreds of entries and I got through to one of the final 4 of the "Final Year Students".

The finals were on Saturday and I created a makeup look that was photographed on set at the event and is now up for judging on the Illamasqua Facebook page.

The competition was judged by Alex Box, Katie Shillingford, David Horne, Christine Blundell, Spob, Joseph Corre, Julian Kynaston and Pixiwoo.

The public vote counts for 50% of the final score.

Fourteenth Century Plague Doctors wore bird-like masks and referred to as "Beak Doctors". The beak could hold dried flowers such as roses and herbs, designed to cover the "evil smells" of the plague and preventing them from getting ill, as the "Miasma" theory was still in practise.
